i phone 4 black cracked screen !

I have an Iphone 4 worked fine until screen cracked now it wont turn on but i think its down to the screen not displaying due to the crack, it hasnt been dropped it was in my handbag when it cracked been told its easy enough to fix but ive got a new phone on its way so just want to get rid of it. got the box but no charger 120 ovno
